Yankari Game Reserve is Located in Bauchi State and is one of the famous tourist attraction sites in Nigeria. It hosts over 50 mammal species including African elephant, olive baboon, patas monkey, Tantalus monkey, roan antelope, hartebeest, lion, African buffalo, waterbuck, bushbuck, and hippopotamus. There are also warm springs, parks, and beautiful plants. Within the Game Reserve are 59 caves, 130 wells, and some ancient materials used by transiting slaves during the Atlantic slave trade.
